Women’s Leadership Must Drive Bangladesh’s Climate Resilience

“Women trained under the EmPower II project by UN Women, have already improved their living standards and are now leading climate-resilient agriculture and livelihood activities at the local level. Expanding these successes on a larger scale is now a pressing need. Women’s voices must be ensured at every level, from national policy formulation to grassroots implementation. Incorporating a gender-responsive approach in climate planning is no longer optional; it is essential.”- Mr. Abu Zafar Md.
